UEFA has allowed each team to present a roster of 26 players and has maintained the 2020 cap for prize money at 331 million Euros. Each of the 24 teams shall bag an initial 9.2 million Euros just for participating in the competition. For each match won the team shall take home one million Euros and five hundred thousand Euros in case of a draw. The sixteen teams that shall qualify for the next round of the competition shall take home an additional 1.5 million Euros. Quarter finalists shall earn 2.5 million Euros and the semi finalists shall each earn four million Euros. The runners up shall earn five million while the winner shall take home eight million Euros. The competition’s winner is eligible to take home 28.25 million Euros if they win all three games in the group stage.

According to FIFA’s recent rankings, France (2), Belgium (3), England (4), Portugal (6), Netherlands (7), Spain (8), Italy (9), Croatia (10), Germany (16) and Switzerland (19) are Europe’s ten best teams to watch out for. Shall the current champions, the Italian national team, The gli Azzurri defy the odds and make history? Or the runners up, the English team correct the mistake of the 2020 finals and bring home the bacon?
